Today at work my friend and I were discussing all things Christmas and we started talking about Santa Claus. I have been taught growing up to recognize Santa Claus as a symbol, not just as a lie that parents tell their children, or just a man, but for some reason I never realized the importance of what he really stood for. Santa Claus is a man who works all year long to give everything he has to everyone else in the world and bring them joy. Isn't that so cool? How amazing is that. Do we do that? And do we remember that on Christmas? He's not a man who just brings us gifts. I wish that more people believed in the symbol of Santa instead. I think it would teach our children more and also make them feel like we weren't complete liars during their childhood. Do we understand that we should live our lives more like Santa Claus? Do we live with the intention of giving away our life's work to build up mankind and bring at least one soul joy?
I believe Santa is a type of Christ. If we understand who Santa is I believe we will look to Christ and realize the greatest gift we have been given, our Savior. He lived his whole life in order to give himself to everyone else in the world and bring them the greatest joy they could ever have: Eternal Life. And it is because of Love. Do we live our life in a way that emulates Christ? After everything He has given us, what will we give to Him this Christmas season? Christmas is when we celebrate His birth. What can we learn from His birth, but also what can we learn from His life? What can we learn from our birth and what can we learn from our life? And based on that, what can we do this upcoming year to give to Him?
I love being barefoot. I like good and plenty candy. I'm going to start letting go of the fear inside of me and this blog will hopefully help me document it. Speaking of documenting, I love watching documentaries. and I think life is dang good.

Ecclesiastes 3
Read this during my study in the morning. I thought it was beautiful. Enjoy.
Chapter 3
To every thing there is a season—Whatever God does, it will be forever—God will judge the righteous and the wicked.
2 A a time to be born, and a time to b die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
11 He hath made every thing a beautiful in his time: also b he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the c work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the a gift of God.
14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be a for b ever:nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should c fear before him.
15 That which hath been is a now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
16 ¶And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment,that a wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
17 I said in mine heart, God shall a judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
18 I said in mine heart concerning the a estate of the sons of men,that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are b beasts.
19 For that which a befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts;even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other;yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own a works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?
